Bonfire Night falls on Thursday 5 November. Roundhegians RFC in Roundhay hosts its fireworks display that evening, and Leeds City Council traditionally stages six free community bonfires across the city, with Roundhay Park’s the largest at around 70,000 people — its bonfire lit at 7.30pm with fireworks at 8pm, and the others at East End Park, Woodhouse Moor, Springhead Park in Rothwell, Middleton Park and Bramley Park traditionally lit at 7pm with fireworks at 7.30pm. Leave your own fireworks and sparklers at home, and check council announcements closer to the night for this year’s confirmed details.
